After more than 35 years as an Executive Recruiter, Matt Seegers has shifted his focus from attracting, recruiting and hiring top talent to helping businesses retain it. Now retired from the executive search field, he brings his deep understanding of hiring and retention strategies to his role as Director of Client Development at The Benefit Center. He is dedicated to helping businesses strengthen their health and benefits programs—ensuring they remain competitive in attracting and keeping top-tier employees.

Throughout his career, Matt has built a reputation for integrity, a strong work ethic, and a keen ability to understand what businesses need to succeed. His experience in executive search has given him unique insight into how high-quality benefits impact employee satisfaction, performance, and long-term retention.

Matt studied Communications at UCLA, where he remains actively involved as a Keynote Speaker for the UCLA Extension Career Day Program.

 

His career began at a boutique executive search firm in Century City. Several years later, he founded Seegers & Associates - Financial Executive Search.  He has placed Management-level and C-Suite executives across a variety of industries, including real estate, financial services, media/technology, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.

When he’s not helping businesses optimize their benefits programs, Matt enjoys playing tennis, pickleball and flying his Mooney.
